About Tamy

After years of breaking taboo in social media Matilda Ahdrian felt that it was time to make life with a stoma even better for the community. 

Matilda got Ulcerative Colitis at age 15 and had her stoma surgery at 17, year 2012. It all started with a blog about her life which quickly turned to sharing her health update from the hospital. Along the way it became natural to share her life with a stoma on her blog, later on to Instagram and 2021 through a podcast series in mainly Swedish "Livet med stomi". 

A few years ago the thought of making covers with noise cancellation started, but unfortunate it turned out to be a tricky thing. So for now, for a start, it turned out to stoma covers that just makes the stomas a bit more glamorous.

Just like you want nice underwear, you can have a nice stoma cover, matching your outfit, underwear or just today's mood. That's Tamy, for our tummies. 

Tamy bags are made by hand in Gothenburg, Sweden. The producing company's is Fabrikörerna. Fabrikörerna works not only with good seamstresses, but also for a good cause. Many of the seamstresses are new in Sweden and with the language as a barrier for the Swedish labor market. Thereby they not only gets a chance to provide their sewing skills but at the same time practice Swedish and become a part of the Swedish labor market.

Tamy is happy to work with them, talented, fast and local in Gothenburg to easy meet in person.
